Since he graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of La Laguna in 1989 in the specialty of Painting, the Tenerife painter has taken numerous undergraduate and postgraduate training courses, highlighting those carried out by the master of figuration Mr. Antonio López, the Sculptor Julio López, Andrés Ibáñez and Gonzalo González

Conrado Díaz has to his credit more than a hundred group exhibitions and fifteen individual exhibitions, as well as numerous first prizes, second prizes, second prizes and honorable mentions.

His work is present in numerous private and institutional collections such as the Canary Islands government, Caja de Ahorros de S/C de TF, Museo de S/C de Tenerife, Museo de la Ciencia Las Palmas de GC, Iglesia de los Olivos, Museo European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona and much more.

This artist, who coordinated the Department of Graphic and Artistic Design of the Adeje City Council from 2000 to 2008 and from 2008 to the present, is the cultural advisor of said municipality.

He is Co-founder of the Artesur group. In addition to his role as a visual artist, Díaz Ruiz has also dedicated himself to teaching between the period 1994-2000 and 2005, teaching classes in artistic drawing, color, graphic design, artistic bachelor’s degree and final art in the art schools of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. , Santa Cruz de La Palma and Arrecife de Lanzarote.

His interests in the world of plastic arts have also led him to create sets, decoration and interior design. Another of his recognized facets is that of a muralist, reflected in countless works of which a set of urban works of more than 600 m2 carried out for the town hall of Adeje (southern Tenerife) stands out for its dimensions and complexity, a place in which He currently carries out his professional work as head of the artistic area.
